From Peter, Robin, Mavis and Katie in the pro shop, to the golf course attendants at the bag drop to the restaurant staff, we were greeted warmly and made to feel welcome. Range area with chipping and putting green is spacious and very nicely laid out. Course is in terrific shape, challenging, and a good test for all levels. Also, play the Par 3 next to the practice range if you have time, it is lighted in the evening and closes at 9:00pm, wonderful views at sunset! I noticed families and young kids playing the Par 3, looked like alot of fun.

Designed by Palmer Enterprises, this popular stretched executive 18-hole course offers an oasis of golfing pleasure between the Atlantic Ocean and the Indian River. The 5,210 yard course features sailboats and birds along the inland waterway on the west. From the east, the constant, yet unpredictable breeze off the Atlantic Ocean offers exceptional seaside golfing — challenging use of all 14 clubs. Golfers will also appreciate the hole-in-one advantage of the six par-3 holes that vary from 128 to 191 yards. Weaving through more than 800 sabal palms, eleven par-4 holes and one par-5 hole complete the opportunity for first rate play at this well-manicured 67-par course.

My wife and I played here Monday after Christmas with our daughter and son-in-law. Our first time on this course for all of us. First off, great staff. Friendly, helpful, lots of smiles. Drink cart lady was a riot. Okay, the course. First off let me say I have never shot a 90 on a par 72 course. Favorite course for my wife and I is a par 60 course in Englewood, FL, and I like to break 80 there and have shot in the low 70's. At this course I managed a 94, so even though it has some challenges it is possible to shoot low. At the pro shop they give you a very nice little course guide with measured distances to help you out and each hole has a playing tip as to direction, hazards, etc. Lots of tee options, we played the whites and reds. Lots of rolling little hills off the fairways and plenty of bunkers, but not over-the-top as far as number and placement. The fairways were okay, maybe a bit thin and cut short. I prefer a little more cushion to forgive some of my mishits more. The GREENS, holy cow they were FAST. We're talking putting on a pool table fast. Not a course to hit your approach shot ABOVE the hole and have to judge downhill putt. That's not necessarily a negative, just a caution. Overall a nice course. Greens fees that day were $45 which is not out of line for big courses during winter season. I didn't pay attention if that was a Monday special as another reviewer noted. We teed off at just past 8:30 and got around in a little over 5 hours. We didn't have a group crawling up our butt or slowing us down in front, but we're all high handicappers, so I can see where a low handicap player might not like the pace of play. We all agreed we would like to play here again.
