Great wine store. The guys running it are so friendly and knowledgeable - lovely selection from $6 to $300 a bottle - TIP? Go on a Thursday night when they do a wine tasting for a donation to charity - well worth a visit!

In the heart of downtown Southport, NC come taste international award-winning wines made by Silver Coast Winery. In addition to our wines, we feature 6 craft beers on tap. The taps change frequently, so come often. After a day of antiquing come enjoy a wine or beer tasting or a glass of wine or pint while you browse our gift shop. The wine labels and art gallery feature works by local artists. Special events include wine and chocolate and wine and cheese pairings. The art gallery is a great setting for a bridal shower, private wine tasting and other events. Hours are Monday through Saturday from 11am to 8pm and Sunday from noon to 5pm. Wine tastings daily. Host a birthday party, bridal shower, anniversary party or other private event in our art gallery and tasting room.

My husband and I found this gem today while shopping. We did a wine tasting with John who was super friendly and knowledgeable. The wine was great! Bought a case with Touriga and Viogner! Will definitely go back when we return in May to pick up our son at UNCW!

What a wonderful friendly place to visit while in Southport. The customer service is incredible. They have so much to offer, gifts of all kinds, purses, jewelry, women's clothing, men's clothing & accessories, they even have a baby room with beautiful gifts. They also have candles, Brighton Jewelry, HOBO purses and wallets, Joy Susan purses to name only a few. They also have the most incredible quick dry beach towels. They dry your body, dry quickly and then the sand slides right off. Can't say enough good things about Boo & Roo's!!!!

The Franklin Square Gallery is in the heart of the art scene in historic Southport, North Carolina, a rewarding and wonderful place to visit. With over one hundred artists displaying their paintings and pottery, you are sure to find the art you are searching for. WE’RE LOCAL. The member artists come from throughout southeastern North Carolina, from Wilmington to Pinehurst, and even to Myrtle Beach, bringing with them many different styles and techniques. The Associated Artists of Southport started the gallery in the seventies with only twelve members, in the former Southport school house and town hall. Over the years talented artists from the area discovered the site and made it their home. WE’RE A SHOWCASE FOR TALENT. Artists with diverse backgrounds and a wide range of styles have their work on display. There are paintings in oil, acrylic, and watercolor depicting local scenes or European villages. The 2-D art is also available in prints, notecards, and miniatures.

The pier was rocking with many fishermen. They were catching too! Enjoyed just watching the fishing and the boats passing by. I never miss a chance to visit this part of Southport.
