Running for almost a mile along the border of Victoria Park (home to the Southport Flower Show) this delightful floral border is kept in all it’s glory by an enthusiastic group of volunteers who must be commended. Drive, or better still walk, down to appreciate this magnificent free show.

The largest Air Show in the North West in an annual event on Southport Beach. Each year the event attracts over 100,000 visitors to the seaside town of Southport. With military, historical, civilian and stunt aircraft in the air, and plenty of entertainment and attractions on the ground, this is an event for the entire family.
The Southport air show is definitely a calendar event for me and my grandchildren, there is so much to do. As well as the fabulous show displays including a Typhoon, Lancaster bomber and Spitfire, there are many static displays including the Army, who have vehicles to climb into and weapons on display, just off the beach for the children to get involved. They have model planes taking off and landing from the beach, these are not 'airfix' kits but huge models which are brilliant in there own right. The location is perfect, uninterrupted views on a beautiful sea front, great parking on the beach and lots of amenities near you. All the various fast food places are right there to keep everyone well fed and happy.
