The Old Grocery/ LF wine and brew in Gedser is a house with brewery/winery, cafe, B&B and a health clinic with a masseur and a podiatrist. In the cafe you can taste beer and wine made at the spot, and enjoy a meal as well. There are always homemade cake and icecream to enjoy in the garden. The store holds a lot of lokal products to take home with you. Nearby is the wineyard with tours several times per week, ending up in the cafe for tasting and maybe a walk round the house. Flemming and Lea Lind runs the wineyard and the old Grocery, and are passionate about brewing tasty beer and making good danish whitewine. The B&B holds 4 rooms and a schack for rent. It is placed next to the harbour with the ferry to Rostock. In the covered terrace there are often music and cultural events and a nice atmosphere with wine hanging from the roof. Including the history of the winery, plant systems, grape and apple varieties, as well as information of how the vines and apple trees cultivated and pruned. Not least, the newest and only in Denmark and Nordic: "Pergola" system for wine plants. Then a look down into the cozy wine cellar where the oak barrels are stored and located. Finally, a visit to the winery and the farm shop where we talk about the wine production after the harvest. How do we make our stunning Rosevine.

The largest winery i Denmark, situated on the beautiful peninsula of Røsnæs, producing wine and spirits. All the different stages of the wine making are handled at the winery and all the processes are followed closely by the owner in cooperation with a professional winemaker. The production of alcohol is also handmade on a distillery from Müller Brennereianlagen. When visiting the estate you can taste the wine in the winebar or café and spend some time looking through the shop finding a large selection of white wine, rosé, sparkling wine, gin, whisky, fruit alcohol liqueuer and much more. The wine bar is open all year and there are always 12 different wines open for tasting. The cafée is open most of the time for lunch and supper in summer, but the wine bar serves wine, charcuteri and coffee all year. Guided tours are offered all season and can be booked in advance on the website or you can arrange your own tour with a group of friends. We speak Danish, English and French.
