In our gallery in Kettinge you find besides the artwork of Heike Arndt guest shows with artists, who have proved their talent and professionalism. We hope to surprise and challenge our visitors. The gallery takes active part introducing the art and culture from the Nordic countries and artists working in Germany. In the future we wish to support projects involving artist/groups from both places. In our danish studios for printing, ceramic/sculpture and painting we hope to develop an active artist involvement in the future.
Gallery Heike Arndt is a dynamic art gallery with people working with passion. With a big collection of prints and artworks of a very wide range of medium, there is art for everyone's taste. As an artist collaborating with the gallery since 2017, I had the opportunity to meet a lot of other artists and interesting people. Connecting people together is something very important for the gallery team. Since they work hard to organize international collective exhibitions, the network of artists, collectors and enthusiasts never stop to grow. This led to the creation of a collective called « Knot », with artists from all over the world organizing regularly collective exhibitions. I would definitely recommend you to stop by, have a coffee with the lovely team and look at the varying, high quality artworks.

VISIT A LOCAL ORGANIC VINEYARD IN KARREBÆKSMINDE. WINNER 2017 AS NUMBER 1 IN DENMARK GOLD MEDAL FOR REDWINE AND BEST WINEFARME IN DENMARK! Come and see how we can produce high quality wine in Denmark with a cozy visit. A visit can consist of just a walk in the cozy farm shop where all the farm's organic products can be bought. Read more on Vesterhavegaarden dk. Or you can book a vineyard visit with vine tasting. It consists of the following: The visit starts with a tour in the farm's wine and apple orchard. Including the history of the winery, plant systems, grape and apple varieties, as well as information of how the vines and apple trees cultivated and pruned. Not least, the newest and only in Denmark and Nordic: "Pergola" system for wine plants. Then a look down into the cozy wine cellar where the oak barrels are stored and located. Finally, a visit to the winery and the farm shop where we talk about the wine production after the harvest. How do we make our stunning Rosevine.
I've visited Denmark many many times over the years from the UK and thought I knew the country pretty well until I visited Vesterhavegaarden and discovered this extraordinary hidden vineyard producing some of of the best wines, cognacs and calvados I've ever sampled anywhere in the world! Easily accessible from Copenhagen, it's worth going down there for the views and landscapes alone but once the host and self-taught wine producer Jesper Rye starts his tour, his boundless enthusiasm and detailed knowledge of wine pours out and you will leave there with an infinitely better knowledge of wine and this beautiful local area than when you arrived. The tour includes informative sampling and the wonderful hospitality of the whole family is free! I can't recommend this attraction enough.

We have almost 100 square meters of boulder wall, and have both dark room and a LED MoonBoard. All our walls are made from special compressed wood with a mesh for friction, which gives very good stability on the wall, are extremely durable and offers less risk of critical falls. The hall is unmanned and 100% self service.

Riddlehouse Escape Room offers fun for friends, families, tourists and groups. Our rooms accomodate 2-6 players pr. room. In our rooms you must solve puzzles, find clues and open locks to have succes. Teamwork and coordination is essential. Our two rooms are: Ragnarok and Spymaster.
This is lots of fun and the challenges are at just the right complexity. Your imagination and curiousity is stretched to the limit. The help - if needed - is subtle and each time left us wondering why we didn’t explore more. We’ve tried both rooms.

Walking from the train station to the museum is worth the journey itself! A very unpretentious building but certainly attractive. Built like a ship and features amazing artwork by Damien Hirst, Ai WeiWei amongst many others and the special exhibition by Patricia Piccinnini is a must. The museum itself is a delight with views across the sea. Do not miss the amazing store on the way out.

We went here on a guided tour and had a super interesting and very educational visit to the frontlinie defense of NATO, located at Stevns in Denmark. The tour of the underground fortress was the highlight, and the guide introduced us to the facts and a handful of good stories. Definitively worth recommending!

What an amazing place! It is beautiful and interesting if you choose only to visit the open areas, but do spend the money on the rented iPad. It is an absolutely great, modern and interesting way to learn about history. Our girls are 9 and 12 and both of them enjoyed every minute of the three hours we spent there.

A very traditional Danish church with some absolutely amazing fresco's. The (new) organ is, on the other hand, ridiculous ugly and has no contextual link.
