Greenleaf Pottery features individually hand-crafted functional stoneware pottery by John Macomber.John's limited edition and custom designed pieces are richly colored, delicately designed and extremely durable. Visitors are always welcome at John's studio/retail gallery, where he also offers pottery classes. "Forty years as a studio potter has taught me a deep understanding of the pottery process. I'm glad no one told me how difficult a pottery career would be. For me, however, the process is the reward. My focus remains producing, selling and teaching. What brings you joy can bring you abundance." John Macomber
John always has new and beautiful works of art to choose from. The colors are so rich and interesting. His pieces are so functional as well. I find myself reaching for them time and time again for serving or dining. His lamps are really charming and add character to a room.

Puzzle Theory is a Connecticut Escape Room. We thrust you and your group into a thematic and sometimes absurd story for 60 minutes! Explore the room, find clues, and solve all the riddles. Some of the puzzles are straightforward and simple. Some will require intense analytic skills and deductive reasoning. Communication and teamwork is extremely important. Solve everything within 60 minutes!
Puzzle Theory has several rooms that revolve around the same characters in different scenarios (so they tie together), we only did one room but it was so fun we’re looking forward to going back for the others! The jungle room was very immersive and had innovative puzzles that went beyond simple locks.... is the closest you can get to feeling like you’re in Jumanji. The staff was very friendly and loved to talk about the room and puzzles after we solved it.

This fantastic, independently-owned brewery has a wonderful variety of beverages, not just the standard beers. They have spiked smoothies, spiked seltzers, and regular (nonalcoholic) coffees, which is great for attracting people with different tastes. There was a pizza food truck outside when we were here, so we were able to sit, eat, and enjoy our drinks for a while. The staff were great in helping us decide which drinks to order, and they didn't rush us out. The entire vibe is more reminiscent of a coffeeshop than a brewery, as it's laidback and welcoming and is big enough to provide space for everyone to sit and hang out despite the number of people. They also have group events here (like book clubs), which adds to the local community vibe.
