We had been told about the beauty of this walk and it lived up to expectations. We took our time enjoying the beautiful scenery and the wondrous white Lady waterfall in all spending two and a half hours. The first half of the walk, from the Devil;s Cauldron end, is along the upper part of the gorge with country sounds echoing around the gorge whereas the second half is along the banks of the River Lyd where one visits the base of the White Lady waterfall, a truly wondrous sight. Some of the walk is over rocky ground which was damp on the day but hand rails are present to assist walking.

Went here to see the falls whilst on holiday with our 3 children (aged 11, 11 and 10). Whilst they are not always enthusiastic walkers, they had a great time walking through this forest and we have some lovely photos of them in amongst the bluebells that were prolific! We also followed the river path and had great fun crossing on stepping stones and logs at various points and were very lucky to see some cows coming down to the river for a drink! Another fab photo opp. The cafe was fab! We had some lovely hot chocolates and whilst we didn't eat, the food that was being served to other customers looked amazing and would certainly try it out the next time! Staff were very friendly and helpful. Toilets on site.

The waterfall is about 20-30 min walk. We paid £2 for car park in heartland quay and the view is so beautiful on the way. It was bit windy on the day but wasn’t too scary.

Set within a spectacular ancient valley, Dartmoor’s famous Becky Falls has been attracting visitors since 1903, and no trip to Devon would be complete without a visit. Take time to explore over 50 acres of woodland and streams which are rich in wildlife. There is a choice of trails. Choose the Blue Trail for a gentler walk along the Becka Brook and through the ancient oak woodland. The Red Trail is where you will discover our stunning waterfall and its dramatic 70ft drop at the heart of the park. Why not have a go at our notoriously fun boulder scramble and if you enjoy that, carry on to the Purple Trail for views of the beautiful lower falls on more rugged terrain. Not forgetting our small zoo and exotics house. We also have a children’s nature trail, where every child wins a prize.
We visited this place whilst holidaying in Devon and it was fantastic. It cost a few quid for the car park but that was it. It is a trek walking to the top of the waterfall but well worth it. There are stops/benches along the way too. There is a lovely cafe and shop near the car park serving delicious food and drinks and the staff were friendly too. There is also a little park area and some lakes to walk around.A nice day out. Make sure you take a bottle of water with you.

Magical. I was sceptical about the rejuvenation properties of the water but it is true! I have taken my before and after photos to prove it!
