A lovely place to browse with nooks and crannies to explore plus comfortable seats to look through the books. It's all too easy when buying books on the internet to forget that such bookshops offer a wonderful opportunity to stumble upon a new treasure and feel the quality of the book in your hand. The colours and illustrations are much more real in a bookshop than they can ever be online and this little gem of a shop in Biggar has a wide selection of fascinating goods on offer. I look forward to returning.

Visited with my girlfriend last week and we were both really impressed. Some very creative and fun paintings mixed with a nice selection of local arts and crafts. Ran by a local artist who was very welcoming and friendly, well worth a visit!

During this hard year. It was a relief to just take my children for a Santa visit even in these circumstances, the enchanted forest trail and meeting Santa was extra special end to the year with plenty to look at during our walk through. All the staff and Santa were lovely and plenty of safety precautions put in place for everyone to follow.

We stayed at Laundry Cottage and my sister's family at Gardiner's House while attending our daughter's wedding at Cornhill Castle. The cottages were lovely, spacious and well decorated. We placed a food order in both cottages which had been delivered before we arrived. Laundry had a real log/coal fire and storage heating, Gardiner's had central heating and a fantastic view. We were there in February, they must be fantastic in the summer
