We loved our experience, able to entertain our teenagers with chestnut roasting, rice cultivating and just exploring around the village with kind and nice people teaching us about the Korean culture in different locations. Play place made of rice and local materials and a nice outdoor cafe with traditional food for a reasonable price.

Was easy to get here on your own if you are on a cruise stopover. From Busan station, take a metro to Toseong station and get out at exit 6. Once out, walk straight then proceed to bus stop of Pusan NU hospital. Board bus 1-1, 2 or 2-2 and it will take you all the way to the entrance of Gamcheong Cultural Village. Be there early or you will soon have many people in your photos which you would not want to. The sights are interesting with many artworks decorating the routes along the whole village and the colorful houses make the whole scene perfect picture shots. There are also a number of eateries throughout the village. Be warn though. There are steep slopes and staircases and would not be so friendly for the elderly. This is something different from most order tourist sites. Worth a trip.

We took a leisurely walk from our hotel near Euljiro 3-ga to Ikseon-dong Hanok Street. It is relatively easy to locate. You can use NaverMap to guide you there as google map doesn’t work well in South Korea. Loads of instagram worthy spots and cafes. There is a nice little hotteok stall near Seine Dessert. Seine Dessert is another cute little cafe with pretty desserts and nice and different European themed interior on each floor. Apart from Hotteok, we tried the pancake at Flipper’s. How was the pancake? Good, but i still prefer Pauline Pancake. Apart from Cafes, there are also bakeries and shops that sells hats, accessories and flowers. You can spend some good 2 hours in this area.

Though touristy, this vibrant neighborhood is one of the cultural and artistic hubs of Seoul. Great tea houses, restaurants, street food, galleries and souvenir shops make it a must-see area.
If you are into creative arts and culture, this is the place to me. There are lots of quirky shops selling handmade embroidery and local arts and crafts. There is a beautiful building called Ssamzegil that is dedicated to the local arts and crafts and one can find a lot of treasures in most of the shops. The items can be a bit pricey but some are worth having due to their uniqueness. Definitely worth a visit.

was there with hyeyoung ...lovely place lots of tiny shops and alleyways great place for photo opportunities ...but keep in mind that it’s still a residential area and people remind you to keep it low!!!!!a couple of hours are possible if you plan to have lunch there ...would be apprehensive for people with knee back problems as the rounds are a tad steep !!! comfy shoes are a must !! nice places to enjoy coffee or lunch

Known for its tree-lined streets, Garosu-Gil attracts an alternative crowd with its unique bohemian-chic vibe. It favors designer and artists shops, and features open studios, workshops, and bars.
Many luxury and trendy shops. Window shopping is fun. There are local skin care shops along the street. Less touristy compared to other shopping street.
