The crown jewels, Buckingham Palace, Camden Market…in London, history collides with art, fashion, food, and good British ale. A perfect day is different for everyone: culture aficionados shouldn't miss the Tate Modern and the Royal Opera House. If you love fashion, Oxford Street has shopping galore. For foodies, cream tea at Harrod’s or crispy fish from a proper chippy offers classic London flavor. Music and book buffs will love seeing Abbey Road and the Sherlock Holmes Museum (at 221B Baker Street, of course).

I stumbled across the Gore hotel and bar whilst searching for a place to go before my partner's surprise visit to the Royal Albert Hall. The reviews seemed inviting, so I reached out to email my enquiry. From beginning to end (considering I made the original enquiry back in July), David the bar manager was fantastic and offered their VIP area be reserved and if I would like to decide on any food or drinks be pre-ordered. He sent the menu and assured me that all my dietary requirements would be seen by the kitchen. Nothing was too much trouble and I was confident we would have a lovely time. Well... nothing prepared me for the attentiveness, beautiful VIP area, food and cocktails we received. We were so looked after by our waitress and the bar staff, even double checking dietary requirements on the night. The cocktails were the best either of us had ever had (you pay less than some London haunts for 100 times the quality!) We cannot wait to return and are looking to stay at the hotel next time. Thank you David and your team for making the night so special! We even thought of missing the Royal Albert Hall show to stay the rest of the evening!

Professional/up and coming comedians performing every night of the week with resident compere, Ashley Gorman. All our night's are free entry but this doesn't mean that the shows aren't very good, they're amazing, we just prefer to give our audience the option to pay what they think its worth at the end of the show We are based in a purpose built comedy room above the Hoop & Toy Pub.
