I would come back to Hilton Head just to visit The Jazz Corner! We went on a Thursday night and everything about the experience was five star! The wait staff and bar tender work as a true, well-orchestrated team. The kitchen put out amazing, fine dining food, and the live Jazz and vocalist...what a treat! The owner stopped in during the last set and the singer sang “I Will Always Love You” the best I have heard since Whitney Houston...she was that good. Make reservations well in advance.

Chayz Lounge is the place for live jazz and dining. Located on Meeting Street in the heart of the River District in West Columbia, the venue offers a warm, elegant, inviting atmosphere to experience the finest local, national and international acts in a way that's best described as a private concert. Chayz Lounge is the perfect space for adults to spend an evening with friends or a romantic night out enjoying a light meal, a great selection of wines and signature cocktails, that includes the popular Chaye's Pomatini. The venue opens every Thursday, Friday & Saturday nights, and occasionally on Sunday. A dressy or smart business casual attire is required.
Yes I’m suffering COVID fatigue! Just like so many people. This is a SAFE place in Columbia to enjoy an adult night out in spite of the pandemic. The owner has gone to great lengths to make this place SAFE and be responsible to her PATRONS along with her staff. It’s half the capacity and mask are required (except for eating or drinking). For a brief moment this is a great place to escape, relax still listen to some WONDERFUL live JAZZ and know that this is merely a snapshot of our present existence. This to shall pass.

Forte Jazz Lounge is Charleston's only strictly jazz listening room. Jazz is always on-tap in this intimate sit-down lounge. Artists play live shows every Wednesday - Saturday night 7pm-11pm with craft beer and wine served throughout performances. As we are not a restaurant, you are encouraged to bring your to-go orders in to enjoy during the show.
Wow! I felt like I was at an intimate jazz club in New York City - only difference was the price (really? How do they exist at these low ticket prices?). Music was fabulous, the love for the art of music was palpable and the camaraderie among everyone at the club was so much fun to experience. Whether you love jazz and old time big band music or you want to experience it for the first time - don't miss this venue and these musicians.

She-Crab Soup is to die for. It's my 2nd time here and I had to have the soup one more time. Delicious, rich and flavorful with nice chunks of crab. Crazy busy and the staff was friendly and attentive. Live music was such a treat. Will be back, again, next time I'm in Charleston.

The Commodore is a vintage jazz club, started in the early 80's as a “Touch of Class.” A staple in the jazz circuit as indicated by the classic photos on the wall, the club still hosts jazz and funk acts from across the country. Today, The Commodore has reincarnated the space to be one of Charleston’s true gems with an unparalleled live music and bar scene. Ages 21 & Up
