Hilton Head Outfitters provides equipment rentals for fun-filled Hilton Head Island adventures, like biking, kayaking, canoeing, and fishing, that the whole family can enjoy. We are located inside Palmetto Dunes Oceanfront Resort and situated right on the banks of an 11 mile lagoon.
We rented bikes and beach chairs for our week in Palmetto Dunes. Both the bikes and chairs were waiting on us at our condo complex when we arrived. Bikes were labeled with our last name and very easy to find. The bikes were in fantastic condition, looked new for the summer season. Chairs were also like-new, very comfortable, and easy to carry. When we left, bikes and chairs were picked up before we had the car packed. Could not have been an easier experience.

I had the pleasure of coming across this shop on my way out of Sea Pines one day during our brief holiday stay in September 2019. The wonderful smell of chocolate greeted me as I walked in, so I knew I was in good hands! An incredibly kind lady helped me with all my questions - I purchased a number of beach-shaped chocolate items for family and friends back home, including a few chocolate gators, white chocolate sand dollars, a chocolate crab, lighthouses, and sandals! She was so very helpful and wrapped each item in bubble wrap to ensure they made it home in one piece, which is exactly how they arrived at home! I also picked up several boxes of the sea salt caramels and some lagoon goo (caramel, dark and milk chocolate bark) which was excellent. Very rich and wonderful. If you are looking to shop local and bring something back for family and friends (or yourself!) this is the place to go.

Nestled along the beautiful Cherokee Foothills Scenic Highway, Table Rock Tea Company is one of the few growing tea farms in the United States. Enjoy a free tour of the grounds and processing facility where you will learn how tea is grown and made.
Our visit to the Table Rock Tea Company was enjoyable, educational, and very interesting. Jennifer, our tour guide, was excellent. The welcoming hospitality and passion for their business shown by the owners Steve and Jennifer made our experience memorable from start to finish. We liked this visit more than our visit to the Charleston Tea Plantation. We plan to bring our out of state visitors here for a close by visit they will love. Steve and Jenifer have a great future building their business. Their history is worth hearing. Learning how tea is made from start to finish was informative and fun. The tea at the end was delicious, and we purchased some to take home.

Serving Charleston since 1686, The Tavern at Rainbow Row is the oldest liquor store in the America located next to the Old Exchange & Provost Dungeon.
The Tavern is the oldest commercial building in Charleston and longest continuously operating establishment serving alcohol (since the 1600s). There is a trap door where they served during prohibition which was neat to see. The shop is small and definitely worth visiting.

We usually find the place for chocolate wherever we go as a special treat. Learned about this after taking a tour that mentioned this was the place Tom Hanks selected the chocolate for his "life is a box of chocolates" scene in Forest Gump. The guide and Tom were right -- so very good -- so many choices -- so worth the visit-- event walking in the rain.

A gallery of American crafts.
I just stood and marveled at the works of several of their artists. Truly impressive and innovative pieces. More than I expected for a fairly small town. And the person on staff was helpful about suggestions of other places to visit in the area. I did not leave empty handed and love the mug I bought.... Although I'm likely to use it as a vase rather than a mug.
