Visit the birth city of the (Original) Budweiser beer, learn about a typical bohemian medieval town, the history of a bi-national city tormented by wars, religious differences and the second world war. Walk on the medieval streets, the biggest (almost perfect) square of the Czech republic, enjoy a city on an island, surviving fires, floods and invasions. As a foreigner living here, I can show you what makes a university town exciting, where you can taste the best original Czech Budweiser beer, and what makes cabbage and dumplings the national food of the Czech republic.

Ezster knows the history of the town and region extremely well - in fact she even had information to share about a minor house where one of my relatives was born - and she is a wonderful human being to spend a couple of hours with. Altogether outstanding and great value.

You can either go to Cesky Krumlov on your own and wander in a maze of its old and narrow streets. Or you can get on to my minivan and let me take care about your comfort and be your guide there. Even though I am from Prague, I visited CK maybe thousand times. I can help you to avoid tourist traps, see places that are known only to locals as they lay off the tourist routes. I will make sure you will not wander around and see everything important. You will hear many stories about history and present time of this town and its castle and I will be happy to answer all your questions. Would you like to have a lunch under the castle in Krumlovsky mlyn restaurant? Without reservation - impossible. But my friend owns the place. You will have your table. This tour, as it is, will show you whole town, a castle and castle park. In addition you'll get lessons about history, present, tourist tips for your future visits and perfect service. Cash needed for lunch as cards are not accepted.
Inclusions: Air-conditioned vehicle, Personal guide, Bottled water, Snacks, WiFi on board, Hotel pick-up and drop-off
Exclusions: You need cash (CZK or EUR) for lunch

I had an amazing time with my guide Sofia, she has very good english skills and LOT of knowledge about the city. Although we were not able to take the cruise because of covid I'm very happy with the tour, I had a great time and learned a lot about the city. 100% recommended.
