This is a very special cinema experience in adelaide - so much art deco heritage and charm. Plus the not-to-be-missed theatre organ. A rare treat.

The tickets were cheap, they have reclining seats in EVERY cinema and the employees attitudes and service are among the best I’ve received anywhere. If your a rewards member (which was free for me to sign up to) you save even more too! Would highly recommend!

Adelaide Festival Centre is the heart of the arts in South Australia. Established in 1973, it is Australia’s first capital city arts venue and hosts more than one million people annually. As well as presenting theatre, dance, music, and exhibitions, Adelaide Festival Centre creates diverse festivals to inspire, challenge, educate, and entertain. We welcome audiences of all ages, experience, and cultures. We are committed to supporting and co-presenting some of the world’s biggest touring musicals and work hard to ensure the delivery of shows that wouldn’t otherwise be seen in South Australia. Adelaide Festival centre is also home to 3 great food and beverage options; Star Kitchen and Bar, (A)Lure Champagne & Seafood Bar and Malt Shovel Taphouse Adelaide with incredible views of the River Torrens and Elder Park.
I visit the Adelaide theatre maybe, 2 - 3 times a year, and it is truly a wonderful experience. It works for all kinds of professional performances, including musicals, dances, and orchestral performances. The stage is large and rather easy to work with, while the theatre itself is relatively comfortable, stylishly designed a good sound system, and with a great view from the dress circle and upper circle, and even an okay view from the stalls. Truly a good theatre.
