This is honestly one of the best places to visit whether you are young or old!!! We have been coming here around 10 years now. Every year but one we have walked out and cut down our own tree. They provide the saws and tarps/sleds. The one year we didn’t, we had next to no time and quickly grabbed one from their selection of precut trees. All trees have been great- holding their needles all the way til the end of the year. We own one of their tree stands which has a metal bar about 4-5 inches tall in the center which holds the tree in place. Brilliant! No messing around with screwing in four bolts on the sides of the trunk. They drill a hole for you to fit on that metal bar, and also shake out the dead needles and wrap it in mesh for easier transport home. All worth the money! Ours cost around $75 this year. Of course we had to have the deep fried Oreos and Nilla Wafers which they call Gooey O’s and Donillas! Yum!

River's Edge Apple River Campground - in Somerset, Wisconsin - has been the go-to campground, river tubing and event resort since the early 1960's! Whether you're kicking back in nature, cooking smores by the campfire, tubing or tanking down the Apple River, flying down the waterslides, doing cannon balls in the swimming pool, dancing to late night tunes or chillin' at the Drive-In Movies ... River's Edge has it ALL!

We are new to the area and have come here a few times already. This is our go-to spot to take out of town guests. Have a beautiful location with a patio/seating right next to the Apple River. Even eating inside, it is extremely spacious with large banquet tables. I have tried multiple things and have liked every single thing! Everyone who I've went with has liked their food too. There are so many more things I want to try! Don't get to interact with the wait staff very much but they all seem nice. Definitely our favorite spot!

What a fun place to find new decor, cooking utensils, camping gear, garden items, clothes, and framed art. Super prices, constantly changing inventory. Staff is so friendly and helpful. Redo your home and add to your wardrobe and support a great non-profit at the same time. Donations are accepted during all business hours. Close to the Twin Cities, parking on site.
