Established in 1865, Bath Rugby is one of the oldest and most prestigious rugby clubs in the world. The Recreation Ground, or 'Rec' is one of the most idyllic rugby grounds in the country. It nestles next to the River Avon, under the shadow of both the Bath Abbey and Great Pulteney Street, a Georgian masterpiece.
This is a fantastic place to watch rugby...literally fall out of a bar in the city and 5 mins later you are in your seat which is very close to the pitch and therefore great for atmosphere. Great places to eat and drink too

Pool Closed for 2020 Season Due to the COVID 19 pandemic we have had to take the difficult decision to keep Greenbank Pool closed for the 2020 season. We look forward to welcoming you back in 2021.
The outdoor pool in Street is one of the few remaining in the country. An awful lot of them were closed down years ago and the land used for building. It has a large grassed area to sit on with plenty of large trees for shade on hot summers days. There is a tuck shop and takeaway cafe and it’s a short walk from Clark’s Village and the town centre. Highly recommended

ready2climb provides adventurous activities including rock climbing, bouldering, caving, minigolf and inflatables. Our cafe sells a range of snacks and good value drinks. Children above the age of 4 are welcome but we recommend that they are in full-time education. Childrens' parties are a speciality! Tuition and courses for indoor and outdoor climbing, hill walking and mountaineering is provided by qualified instructors with regular excursions to the great outdoors
A really stunning activity centre in Yeovil. We took our two granddaughters (9&10) this morning for an hour long session - the time flew by for us (observing) and them doing! A really sensible aporoach is given by the instructors with a serious, brief and to the point safety session and then an alertness by the two instructors ensuring continuous safety at the same time making sure the session was fun. The staff were just great and we thoroughly enjoyed a well earned tea, coffee and soft drinks in the on site cafe afterwards. Can’t recommend this Centre enough. Keep up the great work.

We offer a variety of free and paid facilities & free parking. The free Flagship Playspace is open all year round and free to everyone. We also have a free multi-use games area and two free tennis courts (April to October only). We have Pitch & Putt and Mini Golf courses on site. Buy your tickets at the Galley kiosk. The Galley offers a selection of hot & cold drinks, snacks and ice creams.
We took our two kids for a round of crazy golf and then had a cup of tea afterwards to thaw out. The golf was fun, the kids enjoyed it and the staff at the recreation centre were fun, enthusiastic and nice. Yeah, they served us two cups of tea but when they two ladies in the kiosk did it with smiles on the faces and nice chat it left us having had an even better time.
