Our family gifted us a tour and meal voucher for a Xmas present in 2019. The rain was atrocious today(typical UK weather ????) however Howard , Carole and their family made us so welcome it brightened up a rainy autumn day.The presentation and wine tasting was enjoyable and our indoor picnic was delicious.Looking forward to visiting again in the sunshine ????

Been a while to leave this review - as don’t do many. But the visit to your farm was the highlight of my south west holiday. To be greeted (just after breakfast nearby) with a freshly poured glass of serious cider was amazing. I loved the real working farm and the openness to answer any questions! It so inspired me that this summer i built myself an apple press and have gathered over a tonne of surplus local apples and have now passed the 500 litres of juice mark - with loads still to do. Hence that is why I can say the visit was inspirational!!!

During our trip to Somerset we decided to visit a cider manufacturer and this one topped the reviews and now we know why. Jim and his lovely wife were most welcoming and we were told the history of Bere Cider. We sampled their products which is like the cider I remember before the modern stuff was pumped out into the pubs and supermarkets! They also sell cheese, butter and other grocery bits. They have tables outside where we safely enjoyed a bottle of cider in the sun. A great place to visit if you are in the area and no need to book.

Steve and Sally were fantastic hosts during our family alpaca walking experience today (25 August 2020). We have spent the morning with all the alpacas and my girls loved it saying “it was the best experience ever!” Would highly recommend a visit to see the alpacas. The refreshments afterwards and homemade cakes capped off a perfect morning. It’s a thumbs up and five stars from us! ????????????????????.

Yeo Valley Organic Garden (NEW 2 hourly Slots)

The Yeo Valley Organic Garden, situated at the heart of the Yeo Valley Family Farm is the only organically certified ornamental garden in the country. Our 6.5 Acre garden and takeaway café are open every Wednesday, Friday & Saturday until the end of September and bookable online in 2 hourly slots. Hot & Cold drinks and snacks are available. Adult entry is £6 with discounted entry for children.

Reviewed By UK-Hiker49 - Norwich, United Kingdom

As we were in the area we decided to visit the garden and, in advance, got half price by using Yeo vouchers (from yogurt pots). (The normal entry fee is only £6 anyway.) This is a hidden gem and we expected a small garden but this is huge and divided into a lot of separate 'rooms' each with a different theme. Really well maintained and it puts a lot of the more popular gardens to shame. All of the staff we spoke to were extremely friendly and justifiably proud of their garden. 2-hour slots at present due to Covid restrictions but we were not rushed although we could have spent a lot more time there and gone round again! This is an example of a company sharing their beautiful grounds with the public and not trying to rip people off by making a profit from it. Well done, Yeo!

Lovely place set in beautiful countryside. Probably spent 2 hours here plus time taken for lunch - I thought it was worth the price. A great mix of animals, lots of space to social distance, nice food from the cafe. Staff were lovely and animals all seemed happy and the place was very clean! I definitely would recommend for an afternoon out! For all ages!! Support these places who care for animals who have been hit so hard by Covid lockdown!! If we don't, we won't have them!
