Ski school Snowlines Sölden is the private ski and snowboard school. Our lessons are conducted according to latest europan methodology and are fully optimized to the level, prepositions and ambitions of every single ,,pupill". Thanks to that approach it is possible to reach high improvement in very short time period among beginers as well as among advanced.
I'm 26 years old and I just had my first snowboarding experience. Without Snowlines I would never be able to achieve these results in such a short time!! First shout out is for Stepan. He was always writing back very fast (WhatsApp) and he did his best to offer flexibility. Unfortunately, one day weather conditions were bad, some lifts didn't work due to the strong wind. Stepan offered me to reschedule the lesson, so I am not fighting bad weather on a board. Secondly, I would like to thank both of my instructors: Karel and another Karel???? They helped me to overcome natural fears and made me start making turns. I would never do it on my own! They both always cheered for me, encouraged to relax and enjoy the process. Another important thing I was helped with is hopping on and off lifts. Sounds like an easy task, especially if you are a skier...but board is a different story. After couple of attempts, I finally managed not to fall down immediately as I leave a seat. Finally, I believe the whole team is amazing. When you going down the slope you meet other instructors, who also cheer you up and compliment your moves. Just a simple "oh, good turn" made me keep on going and trying my best. I really hope to come back to Sölden next year, and if I do I am definitely going to book lessons at Snowlines again!

I rode the Gaislachkoglbahn as a tourist, most of the riders were going up to ski. The ride was very nice, with outstanding views. There is a very good restaurant at the middle station. At the top are the incredible views for free and the 007 Elements experience and the Ice Q Restaurant/Bar at additional cost. There is also a vending machine area for drinks and snacks, which has public restrooms available, which are also free! To get to this location, one takes a train to the Ötztal Bahnhof, then ride a bus to Sölden and get off at the stop right in front of the Sölden Bergbahnen, which is named the Sölden Gaislachkogelbahn Talstation. Then buy your ticket & start your ride up. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

The value of Sölden is unmatched in the Alps. Fun for big mountain riding and skiing for adults, with great ski school options for the younger children. Great outdoor vibe in sunny days, which you'll find between massive dumps of snow. Huge vast terrain means you won't get board in a week. And the town offers loads of swimming pools, aprés ski, fine dining, go-cart racing, hiking and lots more. Great for a week long holiday with families and friends. I'll be back!

From ski schools, to rendezvous points, to access throughout the massive resort, this is where you start and finish your day at Sölden - especially on sunny days when the aprés ski party is rocking (Fridays). This is good fun for the whole-family or among friends - or both!
