Great place for wine tastings, if you're tourist interested in Slovenian wine or a local, wanting a nice glass of wine. For quality you get, prices are cheap. Also great snacks (local cheeses, prosciutto etc...). Owner and waiting staff are incredibly nice. If visiting Radovljica or Bled area, this is a must!

Faladur Wine Bar & Shop is a must place to visit if you are wine and gastronomy enthusiast. More then 200 different types of wine, large selection of local products such as olive oli, marmelades, syrups, liquers, honney and many more. We are located in an old Roman tower which was recently renovated. There is a nice small terasse with 20 seats and is perfect in summer evening to relax, have a glass of wine, learn something about wine, have dinner, tapas or more. For larger groups there is also taken care of in a place very near by which is also owned by the company and is there where we prepare more complex tasting menus which are always guided with a lot of explanations regarding the Vipava valley. During summer we serve 4-5 course menu every day with no need of reservations. But be so kind and book your visit in advance for better service. We went primarly to taste and buy a couple of local bottles. We quicky realized that this is trully a hidden jem. Amazing crafted tastings were acompanied with wide selection of local, seasonal dishes. I am able to say that this was one of my favourite wine tastings ever. Definitely a must stop in Slovenia

We stumbled across this lovely bar while walking the streets of Koper. During the wine tasting (excellent wines!) we also tried istrian tapas, which were delicious. The service was very nice and we learned a lot about local wines and olive oils. Must see when in Koper!

Stopped here to pick up some bottles of the famous Slovenian orange wine, and stayed to try a couple of glasses. The owner was very knowledgable and made some great recommendations. This is definitely the place to come for wine in Ljubljana!

15 min drive from city center you arrive to heaven with never ending green 360°view. Modern wine cellar with a beautiful terace where you can enjoy the tastes of Doppler wines and some special typical stirian cold dishes, served with personal touch of the family who runs the wine estate (Mihaela with her husband and 3 daughters). October was the month when we could enjoy the smell of roasted chestnuts, prepared for the guess and taste the young wine (mošt) and enjoy picturesque sunset. Doppler Wine estate is not only a plače to visit, but the place you keep coming back again and again.
