Very nice park with a lot of beautifull animals, lots of big cats, but also other animals like camels and kangaroos. We were there around feeding time around 17:00, where we could have a very good view on the animals. Very neat and clean park, nice spaceous and clean residences. Not a very large park but definately worth the €10,- entrance fee.

Sheep herding and sheep breeding are a major part of the traditional Slovak folk culture. Come visit our sheep and try to herd them through an obstacle course. Play with our lambs and feed them directly from your hand. Great fun for the young and old awaits for you on a meadow with breathtaking views of the Liptov Valley, as well as surrounding peaks of Low and West Tatras!

They market themselves as an animal shelter so we expected to see a tiger, a lion and perhaps a couple of donkeys. How wrong our expectations were! This is a proper ZOO. A small one, but a ZOO with a nice selection of animals - tigers, lions, cheetahs, panthers, bears, wolves, zebras, a camel, monkeys, meerkats, owls, parrots, goats... the list goes on. Enclosures seem generous size with a variety of toys and facilities for animals so they don't get bored easily. The whole complex is clean, well marked and includes a restaurant and a cafe. There are just 2 negatives that have nothing to do with how Malkia Park is run but which spoilt the visit for us a bit. First, it was a VERY hot day so most animals were hiding in shades, tucked away, difficult to find. Secondly, the Slovakia Ring racing circuit is about a kilometre away. There was some sort of a motorbike event going on and it was LOUD! We will certainly go back to visit Malkia Park again, probably in cooler weather and we'll check the Slovakia Ring events calendar to make sure our visit doesn't collide with an event there. :)

We did not know about this place at all, so it was just random luck that we end up here. However, I strongly recommend this place to anyone in the area. For the regular ticket it is just a small zoo, with some exotic animals. This is still good, as the place is really nice and very well maintained. However, if you are here, please do yourself a favor and go for the VIP ticket. This is why this place is unique. With this option you can interact with the animals, which means that you can touch and pet them, take photos together etc. There is also a VIP area where you can hang, you get some beverages and special attention from the staff. When we were there we could touch little lions, lynx, chameleon, big insects (cockroaches?), snake, parrot, monkeys, big lizard thing, etc.But I had a feeling, that the kind of animals you can pet can vary from tour to tour depending on which animals are "in the mood". So there might be different animals for your turn. The place is also very well maintained, looks stunning and you can see that they love the animals. Very good experience overall.

MiniFARMA is a family petting zoo based in Lubina, which is home to more than 100 different animals. In addition to the classic species, it also has some mini and maxi breeds. Children in particular will enjoy the petting corner that features cute ducks, guinea pigs and cats. MiniFARMA includes a mysterious forest in which animals such as miniature deer or miniature kangaroos roam. Additionally, horseback riding is still one of the most popular activities for children at the petting zoo, available under the supervision of a trained professional of course. There are also lookout towers, a water playground and a trampoline area available. After a long day, relax in the hammocks or beanbags in the relaxation zone of MiniFARMA. We look forward to seeing you and your little ones.
