SLT has been overall just a wonderful experience for me and my family. I have seen so many productions there that it's hard to pick out my favorite. The production of Singing In The Rain from a couple of years ago comes to mind, though because of the great performances as well as the sets, lighting and technical efforts that were made. They actually made it rain on the stage! The quality of all the productions have been phenomenal! The YATS program for the children is an excellent way to instill confidence in kids while giving them an education and appreciation of the arts.

This part of Slidell is a little Historic location that has some wonderful shops for antiques. So there is something for everyone. When they have their local Antique fair it's a wonderful time for family and friends between all the vendors, food and live music bands.

Came here looking for the Honey Island Swamp Monster, and spent a fun day driving around the Refuge and exploring the backroads of the swamp. We did "hike" the Holmes Bayou Trail, but it's really not much and I wouldn't recommend heading back there. The scenery is just as nice from the dirt roads. Just don't get lost!

This was a pleasamt ride between Slidell and Covington, Louisiana. The trailheads should have been a little closer to the center of their respective towns especially the one on the East end in Slidell. It's actually around 3.5 miles from the downtown area off of LA 190. This is the only safe way to get between these two towns if you travel by bicycle. Could have used more water sources and restrooms along the route. No places to camp out. One of the oldest Rails to Trails in the country.

Nice playground and pavilions. Lots of walking trails that weren't swampy. Some beautiful open spaces. Picnic tables. Restrooms. Closed on Monday and Tuesday. No fee.

We stopped here on our way from Florida to NOLA. The lady who served us was extremely helpful, professional and friendly (a retired teacher if I recall). Not only did we get a nice cup of complimentary coffee but she gave us a good selection of brochures, maps and tourist information. She even pointed out the best place to get gasoline locally.
Highly recommended

WHY US We're Not Just Renting a Building…We're Setting the Standard for Service. Centrally located between New Orleans and the Mississippi Gulf Coast, there is no place quite like the Northshore Harbor Center for meetings and conventions. Our beautifully spacious 45,000 square-foot facility is home to nearly 200 events annually, from intimate corporate retreats to large consumer shows.
We attend monthly events at this facility and sometimes several in one month. I've never had a bad day there, It's very clear that the management and staff have their act together.
