The Van Gogh Bar is “the institution” of the night life of Skopje that has been going on since 1986, a favorite get together spot and a quintessential place for good time featuring a cheerful crowd. The program is a busy one at Van Gogh Bar with live gigs of local rock bands four evenings of the week all through the year, leaving the other three days for a DJ, a Latino/salsa dancing night or just quiet chilling. It is a genuinely pleasant if occasionally hectic bar whose longevity is its best recommendation.
