Skipton (also known as Skipton-in-Craven) is a market town and civil parish in the Craven district of North Yorkshire, England. Historically in the West Riding of Yorkshire, it is on the River Aire and the Leeds and Liverpool Canal to the south of the Yorkshire Dales, 16 miles (26 km) northwest of Bradford and 38 miles (61 km) west of York. At the 2011 Census, the population was 14,623.

Booked the Father Christmas trip and the trip was brilliant . The time spent with Santa was personal and not rushed . The gift was excellent and great coffee and mince pies We had 2 extra family members join us at the last minute and the staff found it no problem and allowed them to join us . All the staff were friendly and enthusiastic . A really safe, well organised trip. The boat was warm , clean and cosy This was our first time on a canal boat but it exceeded our expectations and looking forward to booking one of the other trips they do in the Summer Highly recommended and Skipton is a lovely town
