Skipton (also known as Skipton-in-Craven) is a market town and civil parish in the Craven district of North Yorkshire, England. Historically in the West Riding of Yorkshire, it is on the River Aire and the Leeds and Liverpool Canal to the south of the Yorkshire Dales, 16 miles (26 km) northwest of Bradford and 38 miles (61 km) west of York. At the 2011 Census, the population was 14,623.

Such an amazing hidden treasure in North Yorkshire for all you Harry Potter fans (they do awesome gaming and Disney stuff too) I drove an hour from Richmond and I tell you it is worth it! They have a wide array of HP stuff for all the houses ranging robes, books to wands galore!! A whole floor dedicated to HP and fantastic beasts is enough to excite the kid within even the hardiest of souls! The staff are so helpful and knowledgeable, nothing is too much for them! Seriously, no matter how far you need to travel, you really have to shop here or go online... who needs the London studios when we have our own piece of Potter world up here! Take your little Potter fans... they will love it so much!

We called in on Wednesday to get a couple of steaks after a very disappointing steak at Wetherspoons on Tuesday. We got two 12oz Ribeyes, which the young butcher reccomend,It was just before closing time and we paid £7 each for them alot for a tight Yorkshire man like me I know .We picked some Cypress potatoes and some asparagus to go with them plus some pepper sauce mix and some seasoning. I have to say they were the best steaks we have ever had and well worth the money . Well done James, keeping up your Dads philosophy of only suppling the very best meat available at a very reasonable price.
