Join us on the Chilkoot Trail Hike and Float as you retrace the steps of the gold seekers of 1898 on the Historic Chilkoot Trail. You will begin your journey in Skagway with a 20min drive out to the Chilkoot Trail head. From there you will embark on a 2 mile hike (350 ft elevation gain) lead by our very knowledgeable guides, as they tell you stories of the gold rush, point out flora and fauna along the trail, and look for signs of wildlife. Once your hike is complete, you will enjoy a scenic float on our 18ft ore framed rafts down the Taiya river (no white water). Once at the take out, enjoy warm beverages and a snack before heading back to town.
