A large, busy harbor doesn’t dampen the charm of Skagen’s older neighborhoods, which offer distinctive yellow houses, great museums, ceramic and glass art galleries, and bike rental outlets. Harbourside restaurants serve fish fresh off the boats. If you’re used to Caribbean beaches, this will take some getting used to, but we bet Skagen’s craggy charms will win you over.

WHAT IS AN ESCAPE ROOM? An escape room is a fun activity for everyone (from ages 10-12 and up). In the game you’ll have to work together to solve challenges, riddles and puzzles, all the while time is running out! Bring the teenagers, parents and grandparents for a fun and different family activity. Bring your colleagues or employees for a teambuilding exercise, where you’ll have to work together

If you live for and love nature then this is for you This is a unique experience because of the two bodies of water meeting and I was totally mesmerized by watching the waves collide from their each direction. We head sending weather, which helps but we would have gone in any weather. While we were there the seal were playing in the water and that made it be also intriguing to watch their heads bob up and down in the surf. Finally from grenen we walked west to the most northern point in Denmark along the coast and then further to "gammel Skagen" to the sunset point to see the sun go down. We really enjoyed the grenen, the nature and the walk to the sunset.

It is a very unique museum, I loved it. The bears are really cute and I think all children and the adults who never forgot the child inside them should go and visit this museum. You can buy also really cool souvenirs and the lady behind the reception was very kind and helpful. Wish I found out earlier about this museum.

First things first: 1. An enchanting view of the Kattegat, Grenen and also the North sea 2. The exhibition about the birds is packed with information. If you are a novice/wannabe bird-watcher, you can spend an entire day 3. If you are a WW-II enthusiast, there are several bunkers, around 700mt from the lighthouse, along the coast(clearly visible from the top of the lighthouse, to the south) There are around 200 steps, numbered in the descending order. Some steps have information written. The cafe serves a delicious 'Æblekage' - the traditional Danish apple trifle. One can simply walk to beach. Note: Strong winds may hit you when atop the lighthouse, hence, if you are carrying an infant or susceptible to cold, ensure to cover your nose and ears :)
