Baluran National Park is located in East Java, Situbondo regency. I find this national park as an amazing place to see. It has a relatively dry climate and mainlay consists of savanna, lowland forest, mangrove forests, hills and beach. To go to Baluran National Park is easy and the ticket entrance is near from the mainroad. When you are in the savanna, you can feel like little Africa of java. You could see the mammal species, including the endangered banteng, java mouse-dee, javan leopard and many else. Please put your trash into the trash bin that provided and keep clean of the national park. Enjoy!

There are many good campint spots at Bama Beach. Our spot was next to Gazebo and fresh water source flowing straight to the beach. Insects (at night) and monkeys (daytime) are the challenges we have to deal with. The weather may be warm for those who used to camp in the mountain area. You will need to get permits from ranger's office to camp in this park (Bama beach is part of Balura National Park).
