We are a quilt shop in the small western town of Sisters, OR. The store was founded in 1975 with a mission of providing education and inspiration to sewers and quilters. We have since added a large selection of natural fiber yarns and knitting supplies, as well as supplies for fiber arts, and our own Fiber Arts Gallery. History: Established in 1975. Jean Wells started the Stitchin Post in 1975 to provide quilting classes and sewing supplies. Over the years, the store has evolved into a place where inspiration and education thrive.
Great selection of fabric, yarn, notions and patterns. The sample quilts are wonderful for inspiration and ideas for your own quilts. Lots of lines of designer fabric to choose from. The store is the center of the activities for the annual Sisters Quilt Show during the 2nd week in July.
Gypsy Wind Clothing is full of fun, unique and affordable clothing and accessories. Janet, the owner, also designs several unique items. She makes beautiful shawls that "don't fall off" out of delightful pashmina type of fabrics. She also re-designs traditional crewneck sweatshirts into cute trendy ones. The store is connected to the neighboring store, Stuff for Guys, run by her husbandTony.
