Sindh /sɪnd/ (Sindhi: سنڌ‎ ; Urdu: سندھ‬‎) is one of the four provinces of Pakistan, in the southeast of the country. Historically home to the Sindhi people, it is also locally known as the Mehran. Sindh is the third largest province of Pakistan by area, and second largest province by population after Punjab. Sindh is bordered by Balochistan province to the west, and Punjab province to the north. Sindh also borders the Indian states of Gujarat and Rajasthan to the east, and Arabian Sea to the south. Sindh's landscape consists mostly of alluvial plains flanking the Indus River, the Thar desert in the eastern portion of the province closest to the border with India, and the Kirthar Mountains in the western part of Sindh. Sindh's climate is noted for hot summers and mild winters. The provincial capital of Sindh is Pakistan's largest city and financial hub, Karachi.

Mohenjo-daro‎, meaning 'Mound of the Dead Men is an archaeological site in the province of Sindh, Pakistan. Built around 2500 BCE, it was one of the largest settlements of the ancient Indus Valley Civilization, and one of the world's earliest major cities, contemporaneous with the civilizations of ancient Egypt, Mesopotamia, Minoan Crete, and Norte Chico. Mohenjo-daro was abandoned in the 19th century BCE as the Indus Valley Civilization declined, and the site was not rediscovered until the 1920s. Significant excavation has since been conducted at the site of the city, which was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1980. Some of the major structures of Mohenjo-daro are described below; 1 The Buddhist Stupa. 2 The Great Hall (Granary) 3 The Great Bath 4 Assembly Hall 5 College of Priests 6 Mohenjo-daro Archaeology Museum Its a 12 hour drive from Karachi,Nearest Airport is Sukker about two hours drive from Mohenjo-Daro

Checking the tripadvisor's top 10 list of things to do in Karachi, it felt like the city has rather limited options for sightseeing to do. Especially if you are staying for more than a few days, or travelling alone. This tour was a perfect solution for a full day getaway. All three UNESCO sites left unforgettable impressions. Makli Necropolis is a huge area, can be compared with Bagan, it's good that they have electrocars to move around there. Chaukhandi Tombs felt so intimate, rarely one can enjoy a site without large tourist crowds. Shakhjahan mosque is on the contrary filled with local worshippers, which adds the cultural flavour to the entire experience. I am so glad I contacted Rocket Tourism for this tour. My sincere thanks and compliments to Mr. Fahd Vohra, who responded to my online enquiries about the program and accompanied me during the tour. All my personal requests were met in every detail.

An amazing K2 base camp trek with Trango Adventure. I wanted to travel with a local company in Pakistan as it will benefit the local people and local economy. I chose to book my K2 base camp trek journey with Trango Adventure. They were local, knew the area inside out and ticked all the boxes. Office staff and the field crew were extremely helpful throughout the K2 base camp trek. Enjoyed every moment I spent in the mountains with my Guide and the friendly Balti porters. They provided clean tents and plenty of food. The highlight of the K2 base camp trek was, spending two night at Concordia under the shadow of K2 (8,611 meters), Broad Peak ( 8,047 meters), Gasherbrum (8,080 meters), Concordia is like no place you have seen before. Sparsely populated and extremely humbling, the rugged terrain that makes up Pakistan's Karakoram Range is just as impressive as you imagine. The huge peak of K2, the second highest mountain in the world, dominates the renown Baltoro area. Trekking to the foothills of K2 and Concordia is an absolute classic trek, highly recommended.
