Me and my family visited and it was an experience to remember , the tour guide was so friendly and polite , he also was very generous and let us take home loads of oranges and he made us fresh orange juice. He seemed to love his job which made us feel like we were being educated by someone that was passionate about what they do which made a huge difference. I would highly recommend visiting the farm as I learnt a lot and enjoyed myself. I couldn’t pick a single fault with the experience.

Praia Grande de Pera

With extensive parking and two well built boardwalks, access is very easy. When you get there the beach seems to stretch on forever in both directions. As a result it is never crowded, very peaceful and always litter-free. The swimming is easy with a safe gently sloped beach. The Western half from Mario's kiosk to the river mouth near Pera is naturist-friendly making this one of the best beaches on the Algarve and a credit to the beach management. We come back twice a year from England and love it.

This is a very friendly wine tour in a lovely setting - the team are funny and very kind. It's not a huge tour, but that doesn't matter. They are very knowledgable and the wine is delicious - and you get cheese and hams too - wonderful. We had a lot of fun! Thank you!

(Actually visited with my sister and adult daughter but for some reason trip advisor doesn't give just a 'family' option ????‍♀️) Silves was really one of the highlights of our recent trip to the Algarve. We first visited on a coach trip historical tour but had less than an hour there, we decided there was much more we wanted to see/do/photograph so we made a decision to visit again by local bus from Albufeira. Lots of nice shops selling things you don't see in the more popular towns, beautiful buildings and nice historical places to visit that cost a couple of €'s We visited the castle, archeology museum and cathedral as well as the roman bridge and walked to the cross of Portugal on the outskirts of town. We had lovely Bifanas in a cafe for just €1.75 and the absolute best thing about it all was the Storks nesting everywhere! Such a beautiful place. would be an absolute dream to live in such a place.

Have been to Silves Castle before but the condition of it now is greatly improved. We were able to walk around all the ramparts easily. Handrails have been added on some sections for added security. The admission fee was reasonable and overall its a credit to Silves...

This is impressive, well organized and planned. On 3 levels that progress in time from the Iron Age (6th Century to today). The well was only discovered in 1990. I was pleasantly surprised and not bored, well done!
