We love coming here with our grandson. He had his 4th birthday party here. So much for kids to do! There's a miniature train and a carousel as well as playground equipment for children of various ages. The Nature Center is wonderful.

Heyser Farms is a one stop shopping source for all your comprehensive farmer's market/country store needs from fruit, vegetables, cider, cheese, butter, cream, eggs, homemade jams and pasta, ice cream, flowers, pumpkins, garden plants, to pies, cakes, cookies, herbs, and sweet rolls. If you are trying to eat locally, this is an excellent source of top quality food stuffs in the Maryland suburbs. We are particularly fond of their broad range of apples available in pecks, half pecks, bushels, and half bushels throughout the late Summer and well into the Winter. They are grown right next to where they are sold.
