Best place for Kids to have a look at the King of the Jungle from close quarters. The Lion and Lioness wander in the open and the visitors are given a safari in buses provided by the Forest Department of Dadra & Nagar Haveli. The Vasona Lion Safari may give a thrilling and long lasting memory to all and especially the kids. The location of the Park is about 12 kilometers from the Silvassa town and it is connected by great roads, the journey time is much less (around 12 minutes). The entry fee for adults is Rs. 25 each and kids under the age of 10 can get in for Rs. 10 only. The fee includes entry and the Safari ride given by the Forest Department. The Reception area is well maintained in the tribal style with plenty of information boards all over. The location of the safari is in the midst of the Reserved forest area which is absolutely tranquil and thus makes a great picnic opportunity even for the locals. The staff and the locals are friendly but non interfering type. I recommend this place as a must visit when in Silvassa. Thanks.
