We had a lot of private guides in our holidays around the world, in almost 20 countries and every time we had at least two or three of them. Harijs, our today's guide, was for sure one of the best. Warm, friendly, even thrilled to show us Riga and to explain us a lot of very interesting stories and anecdotes. Four and half hours passed in a while. He speaks a perfect English and was always helpful to answer a lot of questions. If you are a family o a small group of friends, Harijs is the perfect guide to introduce you to Riga beauties. Latvian cuisine is exquisite and this is the perfect tour to discover it. We went around Rīga's central market with Liga, who introduced us to many flavours our palates had never tasted before: pickled veggies, hearty soups, delicious pastries. She made sure we were following all the sanitary requirements and we felt super safe with her. We couldn't recommend this tour enough. This is an experience for all senses since colours also invade you from all around. Great gourmet experience overall. Thanks Liga!

Then we move on to Cēsis Castle (1214), main base of Teutonic Knights in this region. Next is Līgatne, where you'll learn about industrial revolution in Russian Empire. After that - to Secret Soviet Bunker for a private visit - only your party and the guide, so you can ask all the questions you might have. And that's all the major periods of Latvian history covered! Finally we continue to Sigulda, catch some picturesque viewpoints and maybe do a little hiking or visit a cave if you're still not tired :) All the tickets and a traditional Latvian meal for lunch are included. The tour is customisable, so if you want to drop or add something, just let us know.
