Sichuan, formerly romanized as Szechuan or Szechwan, is a province in southwest China occupying most of the Sichuan Basin and the easternmost part of the Tibetan Plateau between the Jinsha River on the west, the Daba Mountains in the north, and the Yungui Plateau to the south. Sichuan's capital city is Chengdu. The population of Sichuan stands at 81 million.

Really enjoyed the walk around the park (there is a car-train that can drive you around if you are less mobile). Several nice enclosures with pandas of varying age groups. Didn’t see any really small babies though. They also have some red pandas and even a black bear. Worth a visit!

Du Jiang Yan is one of the landmark projects which are provided assistance by Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. Our base’s area is about 507000 square meter. It is near to giant panda habitat. And its weather and natural environment are suitable for panda to live. It is the only conservation, research and education organization of the giant panda.
