Pobeda cinema is situated in Novosibirsk city centre. Pobeda is one of the largest Novosibirsk cinemas. It is the scene for many glitzy film premieres. Film buffs visiting Pobeda can enjoy a feast of cinematic delights from the latest blockbusters to the best in classics. Pobeda houses a number of large screens with the latest in surround sound and exquisite interior reflecting the combination of the Modern era and Soviet past. Pobeda is one of the oldest cinemas in the city. It was closed in the late 90's and reopened in 2006 after extensive refurbishment. Its reputation and location gives it the priceless flexibility of being able to handle specialist films or more major films by established directors. Bruno Dumont, Christian Vincent, Emir Kusturica, Nikita Mikhalkov, Alla Surikova, Andrei Zvyagintsev were the guests of the Cinema. Cinema Pobeda is one of the few places that show movies in their original language. Overall it’s comfortable and people seem to be more polite and not make much noise compared to some other cinemas. Will visit again/ 10
