Winery Rak focuses on the production of grapes and wine in Dubrava, near Šibenik, under a specific climate in the Dalmatian area, and we take our pride in the cultivation and production of three autochthonous wine sorts: Babić, Debit and Maraština and from Babić grapes we also produce opolo and rose. Viticulture is long family tradition, which started in 1960-s, and we maintain the tradition today. Honoring the tradition, as our inherited love for vineyards and wines, we use the modern technology and equipment, keeping up with modern standards in the fields of grapevine cultivation and quality wine production. Our family business includes a tasting room, where you can taste our wines and eat homemade culinary specialties! See you in Winery Rak!
We spent several hours exploring this fabulous family business. After great communication,we were picked up by Andros, who drove us first to the vines to explain about when the grapes would be picked. They tasted great! We then went to see the wine cellars, where the wine is fernented and stored. Finally we tasted 6 delicious wines, whilst eating a superb Dalmatian plate consisting of homemade bread, olives, olive oil, cured meat and lovely cheeses. The family are passionate about their business and it shows. The other brother then drove us back to our cruise ship. What a great day.Thank you.

We had a small group wine tasting today where we got to learn about the family history and how hard the family works to produce fantastic wine and olive oil! Everyone is very friendly and eager to show and teach you their process and the history of their wine. Thank you again for sharing your day with us! Definitely worth the visit!!

We stopped at the winery on a random day in the week after tourist season, without a reservation and without any expectations. What happened next was one of the magical evenings you always dream about when you’re somewhere on a vacation and want to experience something authentic and special. Marina and her brother invited us inside their beautiful place and even though they were busy during harvest season gave us their full attention and all the delicious wine to taste. Marina is a special person paying attention to every detail and she is very professional and friendly. The whole family business is run with love to their wine and their customers and it truly shows. If you love wine or just like to experience the local atmosphere and great hospitable people you don’t want to miss this place!

From the heart of Dalmatia, great wines are made⚓ Enjoy and taste authentic and local wines of Dalmatia at the family-owned Baraka Winery with beautiful views of our vineyards and olive orchards, located near the basilica from the 6th century. Start your wine experience by meeting the winemaker and tour the winery, new barrique aging cellar, and learn about the winemaking process and tradition. Choose a few different tasting menus of wines made from the estate-grown grapes or our single-vineyard selections along with locally produced cheese, estate olives, and extra virgin olive oils. With direct access from the local road to Jadrija, and just 0,5km from the main road Šibenik-Vodice we are very easy to reach and open for tasting from 1130 until 1800. Reservation is advised.
Filip gave us a warm welcome in his wine tasting room, very nicely decorated. We were lucky enough to be the only ones to be there on the day and have a private session and discussion with him. Such a genuinely passionate person, great stories and explanations about his experiments with his different wines. We recommend the wine tasting with cheeses and olive oil, they definitely match very well together with the amazing wines. We came by bike from Vodice and were very happy with the trip, thank you Filip and for everyone wondering, this is definitely a place worth visiting in the area!

The Knin fortress is one of the greatest Croatian fortification monuments and it is the second largest military fortification in the whole Europe, extremely indented and preserved in all its parts. It is a living monument of culture that includes a museum, exhibition galleries and a restaurant. The fortress is located 345 m above sea level and about 100 m above the Town of Knin, it is 470 m long, and on its highest part it is 110 m wide. The defensive walls are about 2 km long.
Such a fantastic huge n vast fortress with the fantastic views! This is the best place to learn about the local history visiting the various exhibitions starting from the BC times to the recent history. We were the group of 9 professional tourist guides and enjoyed a lot the excellent guided tour! Highly recommended to all!

This locality was protected in 1974. The protected landscape of the Channel-Harbour encompasses the area from the Sibenik Bridge to the end of the Channel of St. Anthony, more precisely to the fortress of St. Nicholas with the accompanying surrounding sea area. No one has yet passed through the Channel of St. Anthony without experiencing awe at this rare sight of beauty. On the Sibenik side, at the start of the channel, stand the rules of old towers erected during the 16th century.
Approaching as we did by sea in a small cruiser you first get a sight of the formidable fortress which stands at the entrance to the narrow channel. Passing interesting rock formations and caves you gradually enter the harbour. All very, very impressive and no wonder would-be attackers failed totally to get in.

Okay, the logistics for the beach not perfect - the access to the beach is through a small road, parking is a bit problematic (and it's 40 kunas), the food situation is not the best, but the beach itself is well worth it! The surroundings are very nice, no 4 story houses to look at...just the untouched nature. And the water is crystal clear, sooo clean! Those things themselves warrant the perfect score. If you like nature and crystal clear sea, this beach is for you. If you like a nice beach bar and a place to eat, you might not like it so much.
