Our traditional Muay Thai gym has evolved into a wholistic centre which retains excellent Muay Thai training at its core. We've added Yoga (in our iconic open Thai style shala), massage (also in an open shala), excellent nutrition (The Ringside Restaurant) and a vegan café (Revitalize) as we've evolved. We've accrued an excellent reputation for our customer focussed service, training and support. Our location away from the hustle and bustle makes us an obvious choice for people wanting to focus on themselves and achieving their personal goals. We have a sound business ethic and are committed to giving back to the Muay Thai community through our Wor Watthana project which supports impoverished children from the poorest region of Thailand.
Second visit to Sumalee. Brilliant boot camp, massage and yoga on site and the Muay Thai coaches are amazing. We went for general fitness rather than boxing expertise and the coaches accommodate whatever level you are at. We will be back!

While on vacation in Phuket, it was recommended to take a cooking class and I’m so glad I found Pui with BrassWok! I was able to reserve a spot with her class the night before (not recommended) and opted to do both the market tour and cooking class. From my initial contact, communication with BrassWok was very prompt and the excursion turned out even better than described. I was picked up from my hotel at the exact time they stated and met others participating in the class in a shared, well-equipped (leather seats, AC, etc) van. From there, our group met with Pui at the local market to shop for the food we were to cook during the class. It was great seeing a local market! After finishing up our shopping we hopped back in the van to meet Pui at the studio. Pui’s demonstration kitchen is perfectly comfortable and has everything you need to cook amazing Thai dishes. For our class, we made traditional Tom Yum, fried Spring Rolls, green and Panang Curry, and Pad Thai! Pui was an excellent instructor and explained the steps for each dish clearly. She was very attentive to the class and welcomed any and all questions! I’d highly recommend this experience while in Thailand!

We called in here while on a tour round Phuket with a driver and are glad we did, The reclining Buddha is so big and colourful, and despite being right next to the main road it was still nice and peaceful. Well worth a visit.

This property is temporary closed for renovation
At last...after nearly 5 years for the '3 month closure for refurbishment' the Thalang National Museum has reopened. The renovation is not yet complete but three sections of the museum are open and it is well worth the effort to visit. Phuket has a complex and fascinating history as does all of Thailand. The multi-layered cultural influences from Hinduism as well as Buddhism (and animalism) combine to make a very complex picture, often difficult to penetrate and comprehend. Well Done for reopening this museum and I look forward to the next 'areas' of it being re-opened. It would be great if the powers that be in the Phuket Tourist section could really advertise and promote this museum to bring it to the attention of visitors... there is so much to learn about Phuket and this museum plays an important part in helping to piece together an understanding of the Island. Thank You to the staff for being so kind and enthusiastic during our visit (21st Feb 2020). (Open Wednesdays-Sunday. Closed Monday and Tuesday). Good Luck! Paul Whittall.
