Great well run friendly pub, now run as a community pub. Inside and out very well kept and clean. The real ale is well kept and pulled right. Well done Chris and Hollie and the rest of the community.

Went to the Woodman for the first time after lockdown and it was great. Sat in the beer garden, which is a credit to Lin the landlady, full of beautiful flowers, and large umbrellas over tables. The Ladies were immaculate( and I guess the gents also!). Its a "real" pub.No music, slot machines etc so you can have a conversation with pals.. Step the barmaid is fantastic and Lin is also very welcoming. If you're in Shrewsbury, it's worth the walk up Coton Hill to visit.

Great evening, food was fab, hot, served altogether very prompt. Drinks brought to your table, lovely friendly staff. Felt very comfortable and spacious, best Xmas party venue we’ve had. Even the meet and greet was a lovely touch making us feel special. Will defo book next yr.

Thank you to Russell and his team for a great welcome and a really relaxing time in a traditional pub, with a very nice outside area, well kept ales and a good range, including my favourite Wye Valley offerings. Great regard and respect also for the friendly locals and most especially those who assisted in my medical episode. OK so I got the wrong Nag's Head in the first place, and got shipped off in a taxi to another Nag's Head miles out of town, another lovely place but this was the original target and this is the biz, ha ha, but apparently I'm not the only one to have done this! Laughs galore. Hope to return one day to the wonderful town of Shrewsbury and this great traditional boozer - and next time I shall not be accompanied by the (whether you like it or not) Delilah toting Tom Jones impressionist

Thanks Norman and the team for letting us park our motorhome on the car park. We enjoyed a great night and the beer is well worth a trip!

Drinking with friends waiting for our table At restaurant next door and having amazing cocktails in fab bar. Dark enough to have atmosphere, might enough to see, and bar man made me cocktail off menu. Lovely!

A lovely pub with friendly staff, a good selection of beer and locally distilled Gin. The weather was very kind when we were there so we were able to sit in the beer garden which was lovely, spacious and comfortable.
