If you’re a shopper, you too will love this mall! Short Hills features amazing anchor stores like - Bloomingdale's, Neiman Marcus and Macy's. Sorry Saks left. They have an epic blend of high and mid-range options. Its layout is a work of art and the restaurants offer something for everyone. Plus it is always immaculately clean!
My favorites include Legal Seafood, California Kitchen and lately The Cheesecake Factory. It was hilarious to us that The Cheesecake Factory has removed the calorie count from its main menu. Apparently people wanted to eat whatever they selected without guilt. So now if you're counting calories you have to opt for a selection from the Skinny Menu. Tooooooo, toooooo funny!!!!!
The variety of boutiques in this mall covers pretty much all of your shopping needs.

There are no bad seats in this small theater. Plays range from Shakespeare to other classics. Enjoyable with friends! They do an excellent job!

Casts and production values are topnotch. I've seen The Bodyguard, The Producers, and Mary Poppins here and I was floored by how good the shows were. Hit shows get good crowds so book early. Parking is easy, and the theater is close to the train station.

A brand new museum was unveiled at Washington's Headquarters over Presidents Day Weekend. In addition to the Ford Mansion, just a few steps away, there is now a museum which has a film and War Gallery. along with another room containing artifacts, the new Discovery Center focuses on what life was like during the Revolution for people living in NJ. Exhibits cover musket firing, desertions, food scarcity, loyalty oaths, to name a few. Many of the exhibits are interactive, which appeal to kids and adults alike, there are costumes to try on and there is even an authentic door from an 18th century Morristown jail. Add a visit to Jockey Hollow (approximately 3 miles south), site of the winter encampment of 1779-1780, and you can experience the Revolutionary War as never before. Good for school-age children & adults and it's free.

This has been a go to spot for my toddler for sometime. He loves the different play areas, especially the painting, trains, grocery store, and pirate ship. It was an obvious choice for his birthday party and they did an excellent job! They tailored the party to what we wanted and had face painting and a private, personalized puppet show! My son and his friends had an amazing time!

My wife and I visited Reeves-Reed Arboretum on a Saturday at the end of August and enjoyed a free guided tour of the estate’s beautiful gardens. If you’re a home gardener, then you’ll truly appreciate all the hard work that goes into maintaining and improving what Mother Nature started. This arboretum may be smaller than some, but it ranks right up there with the nicer ones we’ve seen. We want to thank all the volunteers that give their time to help preserve this delightful arboretum.

The staff is very friendly and always helpful. If they don't have what you are looking for they can get it quickly. Lots of charm and great to have a family owned bookstore instead of the usual antiseptic chains.

I stopped here a few times this year since it's only a few miles from my home and it's been getting rave reviews and it's a fairly decent little brewery. They're only open Friday afternoons and Saturday and it gets super packed on both days; there are huge lines for people filling up growlers. The brewery has different beers each week as they make small batches and the beer has been hit or miss, but more hit than miss. Their IPAs are fairly good overall and they often have experimental brews, some of which have been great. The tasting room is fairly spacious and they let you bring in food. A flight of 4 or 5 costs around $10 and extra tasters are around $3. It's a nice place overall and I would recommend it to any craft beer fans in the area. I'd suggest visiting early on a Saturday and avoid it on a Friday afternoon as it's way too packed then.

Jockey Hollow is a beautiful park, with many walking trails, and a strong interpretive center. The Wick House and grounds/gardens give you the feel of colonial times while the re-creations of the soldiers’ huts (barracks) illustrate the tough conditions the soldiers faced wintering in New Jersey two years after Valley Forge. Dogs on a leash are allowed. Ample parking. A definite stop for history buffs.

This is a great spot for walking, hiking, and running. There are short easy trails, longer trails, we haven't even explored all of them and we're always discovering something new. Beautiful views and if it's recently rained there are several great spots with waterfalls. Also a dog park and a spot that is gated off for biking. Our whole family loves going.
