We spent a delightful morning with Mayuko learning to make bento boxes with panda rice balls. Mayuko is extremely friendly and positive, and a great teacher - we learned some cool techniques which we've since incorporated into our own cooking since returning to our home country, and my wife went out shopping straight after the class to get equipment to make bento boxes of our own. We did a few different activities and classes while we were in Japan for a month and this was easily the most fun we had. I heartily recommend this class to anyone who wants to have a fun morning with a great host and learn some cool things about Japanese cuisine.

My. Cooking class with Emi will be something I treasure ! I received her cooking class via chat room? I was in. Birmingham, UK and Emi in Japan. We did a cook along of gyozas and Goma-æ ! Emi was so delightful as we chatted and started to prepare the foods ! I made pork gyozas with green bean Goma-æ with was something I had never heard of mmmmm ! Delicious sesame dressed cold vegetable dish ! The pork gyozas were tricky but with Emi help I got the hang of it ! I was so soothing folding and sealing the gyozas ! As my daughter is vegan Emi helped me rustle up a delicious vegan potato, cabbage and Chinese chive gyozas for her to enjoy ! Thank you so much Emi for my cooking lesson for my 50 th birthday it was an amazing treat !
