Go now and soon to enjoy the beautiful old English architecture of the main station building since 1924. There are talks to replace this building as part of the plans for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. Harajuku Station is conveniently located such that it’s just steps away from major attractions such as the Meiji Shrine, Yoyogi Park, and the ever exciting Takeshita Street, and lots of restaurants. It is busy and crowded due to it’s proximity to these major attractions but it is efficiently run.

The Empire State Building wanna be, but it is charming in it's own way. How about the night time lighting? Don't go too late, as the upper lights go off. Great beacon as to where the heck you are when you get out of the Shinjuku Rail Station. Lots of great eats within 3 minutes of the building.
