Delectable dim sum, floating islands, and a one-of-a-kind skyline are just some of Hong Kong’s unique features. Get an eyeful of traditional Chinese architecture in Ngong Ping village, then take the tram to the tippity-top of Victoria Peak for unparalleled views. The rocks and gentle hills of Nan Lian Garden will bring you inner peace, as will a calming cup of tea in a Stanley café. Become one with everything at the Chi Lin Nunnery, a serene Buddhist complex.

Hong Kong's largest private museum of design, craftsmanship and heritage. Home to two of the world's best collections of antiques: classical Chinese furniture and European vanity cases. Exhibitions are rotated every 6 months.
I have always joined the talks at Liangyi and it’s the first time that I actually visit the museum. Amazed by the large variety of collections they have and so happy to be able to actually touch the antiquities. Great tour guide as well!

This area has everything and is very close to the Macau Ferry Terminal. Our hotel was a 2 min walk from the Sheung Wan subway station which made this an ideal area to call home for 3 nights.

The Hong Kong Museum of Medical Sciences is an independent public museum established in 1996 by the Hong Kong Museum of Medical Sciences Society. It is housed in the Old Pathological Institute, one of Hong Kong’s declared monuments.
Don't get me wrong. It's a lovely little museum and also they have regular talks and exhibitions that are non-medical related. The venue is a superb colonial building situated in the old part of Hong Kong island. In addition to the museum, you will discover a marvellous neighbourhood that is full of history as you meander through the lanes and terraces. A suite of character coffee and snacks places await you. One can spend easily 2-3 hours in and around the museum. Nice and quiet as well. If you like you can walk on in the vicinity or downward back to Central or Sheung Wan.

Would definitely recommend visiting PMQ on weekends, cool independent shops, restaurants and sometimes a market inside. Nice place to just grab a picnic table and hang out as well. Lots of other sights along the road as well including a Chinese temple
