Larry was a great guide, friendly and informative. Communication was excellent ahead of the tour. Fantastic variety/mix of foods on the tour with nice sample sizes that left us all satisfied/full by the end. Larry have some good background on the city and it’s history and a good feel for the vibe of the city. An easy, well paced walk.

My husband, nephew and I took this tour yesterday (05/15/21). Our tour guide “Christopher” was AMAZING, knowledgeable and funny as heck! We are definitely recommending this tour to our family and friends. Shout out to our driver “Ali” who maneuvered through traffic like butter. What a team! Mike, Letty & Tyrus

If you live in Va or visiting, I really encourage you to check out The Nature Bus if your looking for a day adventure or maybe a weekend. It's a family owned company and it's a great way to see of some of what Va has to offer. So far I've only been on two due to covid, looking forward to more. The owner Suzanne and her family go above and beyond to make sure all have a great time. Where ever the road takes ya, they always find the best informative guides. Also I love it's not a large crowd and all CDC guidelines are in place to keep everyone safe. If you're looking for fun and want to meet new people and just have a good time, in my opinion you can't go wrong. She's also open to suggestions for trips others may be interested in or if a group of family/friends want a specialized tour, she'll arrange that too. Suzanne and The Nature Bus are a gift to Hampton Roads and VA. They do trips most Saturdays and some weekends, do yourself a favor and check it out. I've lived here all my life and The Nature Bus has taken me to places I never visited.

I offer multiple different ways to experience the outdoor scenery of the Blue Ridge Mountains and the cities that lie within. Bring your own motorcycle and follow one of my six guided tour routes from a five hour experience to a two day adventure. Three of the tours are street oriented while the other three are adventure bike oriented and geared towards off-road. We will interview via phone or email first. Then, we will meet in Roanoke and go over the machines, safety gear, and routes before taking off and enjoying the beauty offered by the Blue Ridge Mountains. We will experience the Blue Ridge Parkway and other iconic destinations along the way, then we explore deeper into Appalachia on my favorite scenic country roads to other hidden treasures speckled across this amazing countryside. We return back to civilization with a cruise through historic towns and finally downtown Roanoke. To end such a spectacular day, a final destination of a landmark overlook.

A fantastic 5 hour ride with Nate @motoplan8 Handlebars! A 90% chance of rain turned into clear skies and mid 70s! A Beautiful ride and a good mix of curves, city, parkway and back roads. Really enjoyed Knolly Holler and the views! Could see a long way today! The speed felt comfortable and we saw a lot, despite the parkway being crowded. Nate was knowledgeable about the area and conscientious of safety factors (a vital component a motorcycle ride). Had a great time and will gladly do it again!
