We arrived by sailboat in October and and a pleasant visit. The little cove is protected and very quiet. There are two park docks. The dock with the pump-out has enough depth for a deep-keel sailboat. The second dock further in is better for boats with a shallow draft. The second dock is brand new and it looks like it will have power. The are quite a few mooring bouts as well with varying depths.
The park is very well maintained. There is a shower that is kept very clean. It does require quarters. There are some short walking paths to enjoy as well. The park staff could not be possibly nicer. Everyone we talked to were friendly and helpful.
This is a must stop if you are boating in the area!

Nice little shop and store that sells the freshest shellfish and seafood at their store. You can go on a little tour of the facility where they clean and shuck the oysters and other shellfish. Easy access off Highway 101 at Taylor Towne just before Shelton.

The location is great, it is right across the street from the park and beach. Tent site generally looked private but the camper/RV sites were tight and small. Workers were very friendly and helpful. Site was generally clean and there was space for kids to play.

So thankful to have a drive in close enough to enjoy. Skyline is a great part of living in the area. Lots of double feature options available - and a quality assortment in the concession stand.
WARNING: Skyline Drive in is located in Shelton, WA - birthplace of every mosquito known to man. Some people like to watch from the back of their truck/van/lawn chairs. This is not the location for that. Had the top down a few years ago on my Camaro, only made it through the first 30 minutes of the first movie before we had to put the top up. Don't get eaten.

Spent four days on the track this July. Despite the changes to turn 13, which I can't say I like, the track remains an exceptional place for motorcycles. Grippy pavement and an incredibly fun layout. Now what it really really needs is some decent permanent washrooms (please).

Unless you're a sucker for punishment or a local, I'd recommend staying at the attached hotel if going to a show...there's nothing close by and Puget Sound traffic is legendary. The 'average' rating reflects the relatively isolated location and lack of transportation options as well. That said...It's a nice venue, no tiered seating however, so if someone stands up, so too will you if you want to see the band. Certain seats have obstructed views, depending upon the band playing this could even mean front row (as it was for me); at the front, the extreme left and right seats are on such an angle, amplifiers and/or curtains may obstruct your view of half the band. Now I know...
Outdoor food was priced right, drinks in the 5 and 6 dollar range (12 ounces). Acoustics nothing to brag about. I like that you can park close and get in and out with a minimum of hassle. Ticket prices are average but their meet and greets are kind of cheesy, must stay in the hotel to participate and many bands don't like this, the hotel is in control, not the talent.

Walter Dacon Winery makes fabulous wine. For years they've been known for their Rhone-style offerings and have recently added 2 Spanish-style blends, both excellent.
Wednesday - Sunday tastings are free in the cozy tasting room. The winery has regularly scheduled events throughout the year. Live music, wonderful food, and great wine- bring your friends to relax and enjoy yourselves. The owners, Ann and Lloyd Anderson, don't just make fabulous wine. They've created a welcoming rural oasis to share.
