Since 1996 when we made our first commercial batch of wine, our family has grown our passion into our livelihood. Today, we are one of the east coast’s largest wine producers, and many would say its most popular. Our wines have won double gold medals from the Indy International Wine Competition, Fingerlakes International Wine Competition along with the NJ Governor’s Cup and dozens of prestigious awards. Based in Shamong, New Jersey, in the center of the Pine Barrens, Valenzano Winery maintains 88 acres of farms where we proudly grow our vineyards. We also look locally and nationally, sourcing the freshest and finest fruits imaginable to craft world-class wines that taste best when paired with the right foods and friends. From a hobby to a reputed winery, visit us and hear our story. Join us for a tasting and to learn more about our wines, our winery, and our approach to winemaking.
Fantastic! As every experience is when we visit Valenzano! This Pour & Pair was beautifully set and exquisitely hosted by Danny. His tour was informative, warm and a lovely way to start the evening. His passion for wine making is evident in his tour and brings such light to each bottle of wine we enjoy with family and friends. Every course was delicious and every wine served was perfectly paired with an explanation the for the pairing. I always look forward to the events hosted by Danny at Valenzano. They are second to none.

Pinelands Adventures is the premier canoe and kayak livery service in New Jersey's Pine Barrens. Adventures staff makes it easy for you to get deep into the woods and paddle some of the most beautiful streams you’ll ever see, with 2, 4, 5 & 8-hour self-guided paddling trips daily from April through October. Naturalist-guided paddling trips, hikes and small group bus tours featuring Pine Barrens ecology, culture and history are scheduled throughout the year for families, individuals, schools and community service organizations. Pinelands Adventures is a not-for-profit initiative of Pinelands Preservation Alliance, so you are supporting conservation whenever you use Adventures services.

The lake is very nice! It is cedar water. The lifeguards only allow you to go chest deep in the water. You can only swim between the flags on the beach and where the ropes are. There’s a playground right outside of where the lake is. Across the parking lot from the lake are picnic benches and little grills. I thought it is a nice lake. There is a concession stand too (I didn’t buy anything so I don’t know prices). It’s $5 during the week for Jersey residents and $10 for anyone else during the week for a car. It’s a nice lake and I highly recommend it! You can also bring sand toys for the kids to play with. They do have announcements at 10 and 12 and they make everyone get out of the water and listen to them, they’re not very long. I don’t know if they have them any other time because we left before 2.
