The Hop Shop is based on a family farm, Castle Farm, near the pretty village of Shoreham in North Kent. The farm's own beef, apples, apple juice, hops, dried flowers, Kentish lavender and honey are all sold through the unique, award-winning farm shop, along with carefully selected gifts, cards, crafts, seasonal decorations, food hampers and local, traceable produce. In June and July the valley is filled with spectacular fields of lavender which we grow and distill for Kentish Lavender Oil.
This shop had such lovely stuff. Lovely gifts & Xmas decorations. A great selection of goods cakes biscuits etc! I always find something. The lavender stuff is exceptionally nice. I love the hand & body lotion.

Came here during the latest lockdown in order to browse the Christmas section. There was a great variety of Christmas stock and reasonably priced. Ended up buying loads of stuff. The farm shop at the end is also lovely. In terms of safety there are social distancing measures in place and a one way system. They also take your temperature on the way in. Also have an outside takeaway service on hot drinks which was nice. Loved Polhill and will definitely be back. Couldn’t fault it. I went to nearby ruxley garden centre the day after, and I must say polhill is so much better (in terms of the Christmas section variety, prices, staff members and safety measures in place).
