This Gambian surfschool is founded in 2018 by Tom Maria, a fanatic surfer from the Caribbean. Gandah stands for 'Wave' in Wolof, one of the local languages. Though the Gambia is not yet known for it's epic surfable coastline, the smiling coast has a lot of potential for beginning and more advanced surfers. For this reason, Gandah surfschool is opened since April 2018 and operates as a non-profit to spread surfing in The Gambia. We provide surf lessons and board rentals to both young and old!
