One of the most beautiful churches with very nice facade decorations, but with damaged inside paintings. Once they had great red wine from their own vineyard but not anymore.

According to the cathedral inscription above the entrance door of the nave, the church was erected in 1734 by the obscure Kragujevac-born Stanisa Markovic Mlatišuma, and according to legend, on the site of the present church there was a medieval temple erected at the end of the 14th century, in which the saintly monk and saint lived and died. the Reverend Jov.

Mileseva is an orthodox monastery located in the western part of Serbia. It was built in the 13th Century and it is one of the typical walled monasteries to defend from ottomans. Really, the main church is wonderful and the views of the church and the surrounding mountains is fantastic. Also, the river, which flows close to the wall. Inside the church there are some well preserved frescos and around it, you can see some buildings of the complex, where religious people live, eat, sleep or work. In the surroundings of this religious complex, there is the remains of a Middle Ages fortress, which is located on top f a mountain. We did not know how arrive there, so we only saw this fortress from the road.

As you can read about Sopocani, this place is work of art and posses really good preserved frescoes. You can also imagine fortress around monastery which brings you back to medieval period. We were visiting during "covid19 crisis" so it was really quiet and peaceful. They also built in front of monastery place to refresh, with few tables and chairs, water and tea, where you can sit and rest for a bit. Definitly worth visiting

This is one of the most beautiful places of worship which I have ever been to. I didn’t know what to expect when I walked inside the synagogue but what I found really took my breath away. I would highly recommend.

Beautiful Church on a Kalemegdan. It's beautiful both from the outside (covered in ivy) and from the inside, where you can find a very peculiar detail - a chandelier made from bullets fired during the First World War.

A beautiful Church quite near to the Belgrade Fortress. Certainly worth a visit if you are in the area.
