Seoul is the business and cultural hub of South Korea, where skyscrapers tower over Buddhist temples. Take it all in from the N Seoul Tower, built atop a peak in Namsan Park. The teahouses and shops of Insadong give you a taste of Korean flavor, which you can further experience with a visit to the grounds and museums of Gyeongbokgung. UNESCO World Heritage Site Changdeokgung Palace is a fine example of authentic ancient architecture.

I recommend this theater if you are nearby. There are no shortage of choices when it comes to movie theaters. But some are much better than others and this is a rear example of a very nice Korean theater. Initially, I was very confused by the layout of the theater. I visit a lot of theaters in the US and I am a regular patron of AMC theaters. These layouts are always similar enough for getting around. At this one, you buy the ticket in person or at one of the numerous kiosks and just proceed to your theater upstairs. I don’t know how they stop Non paying movie goers. Theoretically, none popular movies, you can sneak in as long as you sit I’m unpopular locations inside that theater. I have been here 4 times and no one has checked my tickets. But because all seats are designated, it could pose issues for people sneaking in. Also, the concessions are priced reasonably compared to the US prices. I always buy drinks and popcorns and consider this to be part of the experience. But the nice part is that there is an Emart convenience store attached to the theater and you can buy whatever you want there and take it in. No need to hide it. I don’t see signs indicating this to be against any theater regulations. But I still prefer the theater popcorn. English menu on the kiosk are very straight forward and easy to use. Pay attention to dubbed vs subbed movies. I almost selected dubbed by accident once and this is somewhat easy to do.
