Seoul is the business and cultural hub of South Korea, where skyscrapers tower over Buddhist temples. Take it all in from the N Seoul Tower, built atop a peak in Namsan Park. The teahouses and shops of Insadong give you a taste of Korean flavor, which you can further experience with a visit to the grounds and museums of Gyeongbokgung. UNESCO World Heritage Site Changdeokgung Palace is a fine example of authentic ancient architecture.

Superb beef at an unbeatable price! My husband and I bought two trays of 1++ Korean Beef and grilled them at a charcoal grill restaurant above. The beef was soo delicious and at the price we paid, it was well worth every penny! We highly recommend the shop we purchased our beef from, the lady was super nice and helpful!

HongdaeAp Artmarket FREEMARKET has been an art market since 2002.It is a cultural event where you can experience accessories for me, Living props for decorating my space, and creative performances to fatten your taste. From March to November, every Saturday from 1:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Hongik Culture Park.
Artsy place that has its own character and occasional buskers. Nice to walk, shop, eat and chill. I prefer this over the generic Myeongdong. Quite a number of restaurants, cafes and fashion stalls (personal favorites are Another Awesome, Fashionhong and Tomato Library)

This is the city's largest market. Almost everything is available for sale including clothing, souvenirs, purses, and food supplies. Many stalls are open into the wee hours of the morning.
It's a nice local market, perfect for shopping souvenirs to take home :) Try the dumplings and the ginger tea, those are so good!

This place is just a short walk from the Seoul Design Plaza and the Dongdeamun Cultural Park and its shopping district, and also part of the HopOn HopOff bus route. Its a great place to buy dried seafood, fermented goods, Korean delicacies and other dry foodstuffs. The shop owners, mostly elderly Korean ladies are very friendly and would give excellent prices or even samplings. Worth a visit, and its not crowded and opens all day long....

Though known as a market for clothes, for those in-the-know, this market is actually a foodie’s dream. Gwangjang offers a cornucopia of cheap, traditional Korean snacks and “street foods.” Try the giant mung-bean pancakes for an authentic, affordable treat.
Delicious netflixfamous Mungbung pancakes, steamy hot knifecut noodles from the netflixlady, dokkbokki, soondae, soju, streetfood between locals at its top with heatwarming seats

Here is the longest underground shopping area in South Korea. The length is 3.3km and the location is From Cityhall Station To Dongdaemun History & Culture Park Station! You can see many shops for old people and some part is for foods and beverage for office workers. Enjoy a slow-moving another view of downtown in Seoul.

I visited this place after watching multiple YouTube videos about it with my husband. This was a fascinating place to visit lots of weird and wonderful fish that you won’t find anywhere else in the world in a fish market. I recommend stopping if you are visiting Korea it’s one of those once in a lifetime experiences that you won’t get back home if you are From a very western country The only complaint we had was trying to get a taxi out as none of the drivers speak English and they refuse to take you anywhere if they can’t understand you. Taxi rank is hard to find due to construction
